Observations

This manuscript is scored for an orchestral instrument which explains why so many staves are left unmarked.  Yet the markings are precise, delicate, and dare I say it, quite French in their clarity and control. It’s almost as though a butterfly or fairy danced across the paper which actually belies the power of the music, itself.
